Ram Charan will be seen essaying the role of Alluri Seetharama Raju. Recently, on the special occasion of Ram Charan's birthday, the makers of the movie have released 'Bheem For Ramaraju'. Ram Charan plays Alluri Sitarama Raju in RRR. Telugu actor Ram Charan on Friday turned a year older. As a birthday gift, the makers of his upcoming movie Roudram Ranam Rudhiram, in short RRR, released a special teaser introducing his character Alluri Sitarama Raju.

Addressing the 119th birth anniversary celebrations of Alluri Seetharama Raju here on Monday along with ITDA project officer K V N Chakradhara Babu, former MLA Seethamsetti Venkateswara Rao. Sri Alluri Sita Rama Raju is remembered as a great son of India in the chronicales/tales of Indian History during the period of early freedom struggle of 20 th century. Starting from humble beginnings he emerged as a revered leader, fought against the mighty British war forces and successfully lead the tribesmen of Andhra Pradesh with nothing more than traditional war weaponry of mere bows.

Jr NTR and Trivikram, who delivered an amazing outing Aravinda Sametha, are now all set to join hands yet again. Reports suggest that the shooting of this project will start from summer, and an official announcement will be made soon. Even before any official update from the makers of the film, speculations are that the film will hit the big screens during Sankranthi next year. Trivikram’s Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo was released for Sankranthi 2020. If his new project is released for Sankranthi, it will undoubtedly a blockbuster.

Meanwhile, Jr NTR’s RRR, which also has megastar Ram Charan on board is expected to be released in October. The film is set in the pre-independent era, and the story revolves around the life of two legendary freedom fighters, Alluri Seetharamaraju and Komaram Bheem. Ram Charan is playing the role of Alluri Seetharama Raju and NTR will be seen as Komaram Bheem.

On the other hand, Trivikram Srinivas’s Ala Vaikunthapurramloo was released recently. The film had Allu Arjun in the lead role. The movie had huge ensemble cast including Pooja Hegde, as the female lead, Tabu, Sushanth, Navdeep, Nivetha Pethuraj, Jayaram and Sathyaraj in the supporting roles. Ala Vaikunthapurramloo was jointly produced by S Radhakrishnan and Allu Aravind under the banners Geetha Arts and Hassine Creations. The film is based on a millionaire and his driver's newborns getting exchanged and the drama that follows the goof up.

While he was studying at Kakinada he got his political contact with Sri Madduri Annapurnayya, a great freedom-fighter, and Rallapalli Atchuta Ramayya, a great scholar.At the age of 15, Raju was shifted to Vishakhapatnam for his studies. Though he had little inclination for school studies, he was very keen and began to accuire knowledge of political situation in India.

Sri Alluri Sitarama Raju went deep into Gond land where nearly a thousand tribals had sacrificed their lives during the first war of independence in 1857.He attended theA.I.C.C. session at Gaya in 1916 and at Kakinada in 1923 and got blessings of the top-ranking leaders of India.raju inspired and organised the tribals to wage war against the British, Soon Raju's plan of action took shape with vigour and quickness, on 22/8/1922.

Raju's Army raided Chintapalli Police Station, on 23rd Krishnadevipeta Police Station, and on 24th Rajavommangi and captured a good number of guns, bayonets and cartridges and swords. He set free the revolutionary, Veerayya Dora from jail.The British Army got alerted and platoons of Police and Army were sent to capture Setarama Raju. At Peddavalassa, Raju attacked the British Army. They were defeated during this battle and suffered very heavy casualties and retreated. From That day onwards there was a regular warfare between Raju and the Britishers. Raju came out triumphant in all.
